Re: Villa
In real trouble, lots of poor players on big money that don't play as a team and who would PL clubs take from them now everyone is minted?

Re: Villa
Have a passing interest as I like to take the piss out of a Villa friend. A few big-name players on decent wages who they need to ship out (Lescott, Richards) as they have no interest in Championship football. Best thing they could do is get rid of the manager and get someone in who knows the league.

Pearson wouldn't be a disaster.

Re: Villa
What has happened to England's Jack GREALISH?
Does he have a 'hair clause' in his contract that means he doesn't play in the winter months?

Don't look like have many they'd want to keep or would be up to the RIGOURS of the Championship.
As someone the other day said .... which of their players do you think Premiership clubs will wanting to take? Cant think of any

Re: Villa
Should have appointed Nigel PEARSON instead of Monsieur SHRUG.
And let him loose in the dressing room with that stick he once used to poke some wild dogs eyes out when he was on a European walking tour.

They look so shit they could go down again. Especially when all their 'better' players fuck off.

As I said, Pearson wouldn't be a disaster.

You're a busy cunt, Roeder. When do you eat?

Re: Villa
They really don't have any better players do they?
I think they have a lot of Frenchmen who aren't Payet and about four players called Jordan.
That's a recipe for disaster

Entirely possible they could sink straight through in front of about 10,000.

Re: Villa
To be fair the writing has been on the wall for Villa for several seasons. You don't got the players you eventually drop. The irony is that they are dropping at the time bigger money is coming into the game.

Re: Villa
I know Sven. That's why better was in inverted commas :)

But several of their players will bail out when they go down.

Re: Villa
To be honest this season and the last few have been so painful for Villa I think relegation will be a blessed relief.
Shift out the shit, get some young players and lots of Midlands derbies vs Birmingham , Wolves, Forest, Derby etc
Much better

Re: Villa
Villa tried to adopt a system whereby their players were paid little better than Championship level. It shows when you pay at that level that's the level of player you get. Over several seasons the team deteriorates.

Gruesome Dump 10:38 Thu Mar 3
Re: Villa
That's not actuall true, comma. Richards, Lescott, Sinclair and others are on wages that are far from 'Championship level'.
